About Tony

My name is Tony Wickersham and I have decided that we need a change in our state, so i have decided to run for the 27th state Senate.

I grew up in a small rural town of Evansville Wisconsin my entire life. I graduated from Evansville High School in June of 2004. After High School I got a job at Stop N Go in Oregon Wisconsin. It was a fun experience around this time after dealing with people I thought that it was fun to work with the public. When I left Stop N Go in June of 2006 I missed all of the people that I was able to meet. I started at my last job at Wisco Industries in Oregon Wisconsin. I worked their until my lay off in January 2009.

I have been laid off ever since, making it hard to pay for things because of the job market. The thing that I miss the most at Wisco is that they treated you like a family and not just an employee. I am glad to have the opportunity to work there. In the summer of 2009 I had the opportunity to talk to Senator Erpenbach. We talked for about an half hour. When I asked him what he was going to try to help get jobs back in our state he told me that we did not have a job problem. Then he told me that we are starting to bounce back and everything is running smooth. After leaving his office that day is when I decided that I was going to run against him. I always thought that Senator Erpenbach didn't know what was going on but I realized that he just don't know how to solve the problems that this state is experiencing in this economic time. So join me so we can show Wisconsin leaders that the blue collar workers will have our voices heard.

Sincerely your friend,
Tony Wickersham, Republican Candidate for the 27th State Senate
